How to Use WorkClock
Enter your monthly salary in WorkClock settings.
Click the ⚙️ settings button in the navigation bar. Enter your monthly salary before taxes. This is the basis for all calculations.
Set your work schedule in WorkClock including start and end times.
Set your work start and end times. You can add multiple work periods if you have a split schedule. Also set your entry date to track total earnings since you started.
WorkClock will automatically track your earnings.
Watch your earnings update in real-time! The main display shows your earnings per second, minute, hour, day, month, and year. The countdown shows time until your next work period starts or ends.
Export your data from WorkClock anytime for record keeping.
Use the export options in settings to save your data as Excel, CSV, or export your settings for backup. You can also import settings back if you switch browsers or devices.
💡 Pro Tips
- Hide Salary: Click the 👁️ icon to blur all salary amounts when others are around.
- Themes: Try different themes from the dropdown - we have 12 beautiful themes!
- Offline Use: Add WorkClock to your home screen for a native app-like experience.
- Keyboard Shortcut: Press Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on Mac) to quickly open settings.
- Share: Click the 🔗 button to share WorkClock with friends!
⚙️ Settings Explained
- Monthly Salary: Your gross monthly income before any deductions.
- Entry Date: The date you started your current job. Used to calculate total earnings.
- Payday: When you get paid each month. The countdown will show days until payday.
- Work Times: Your daily work schedule. Multiple periods supported.
- Auto Skip Holidays: When enabled, holidays are automatically skipped in calculations.
